Steve Darling is the President of the Civic Club. The Club holds pancake dinners during the fall and spring with proceeds to benefit children's programs and community enrichment. They hold breakfast meetings each Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. Contact Steve for more information at 402-335-3384.

Nutts Closet, 322 Jefferson, Elk Creek, will be open Saturday, February 12 from 9 a.m. to noon. Nutts Closet is a non-profit volunteer service that provides good clothing to any who want and need it without cost. To schedule a different time to browse, call Juanita Peters, 402-877-2545.
