City of Tecumseh, Nebraska Economic Development

Economic Development

From the Director

It is with great enthusiasm I welcome you to the City of Tecumseh's official website, a detailed guide to specific information to keep the public informed of the current development activities, as well as the events and services that we have to offer.

The dynamic approach in attracting new potential businesses to our area is of the utmost importance to the citizens of our community and the surrounding area. It is also of major importance to assist our existing businesses in employee retention and expansion, it has been the goal of our City to provide existing and potential clients every opportunity to be successful in the Southeast Nebraska area. I believe that when the word travels about the quality of the workforce as well as the quality of the everyday life in Tecumseh, the rest will take care of itself. Thanks to the efforts of many people, we have a strong start on building the state of the economy, and with much more we will continue to achieve the aggressive goals we have established. Tecumseh is in the position to accommodate virtually any type of potential endeavor, our farm based work ethic is second to none. In the future we will continue to support with extreme passion the growth of our fine community as a whole.

I would like to invite you to look through our website, see what we have to offer, from the businesses, large and small, to our new housing development and quality of our recently consolidated Johnson County Central School system. Honestly, the quality of life here is unmatched, the loyalty and passion of its citizens is second to none, and that transforms into a successful partnership for any potential investor.

In closing, I would like to personally thank you for choosing Tecumseh to visit either from this website or in person, and would most certainly offer my assistance in any questions or inquiries you might have regarding our efforts to make you feel welcome.

Respectfully,

Doug Goracke, Tecumseh Economic Development Director for the City of Tecumseh.
