The Tecumseh airport is located just north of town on Highway 50. The newly constructed 3500 x 75 foot concrete runway provides ample room for many sizes of airplanes to land. The Tecumseh Airport is available for both private and commercial use and can accommodate any plane up to light twin engines. The Pilot's lounge (left) is one amenity you're sure to enjoy while visiting the airport.

Hangers
There are many sizes of hangers available for rent including the above, which was newly constructed in 2009. The State of Nebraska awarded the airport first place for its resurfaced runway in 2008.

TECUMSEH COMMUNITY DOWNTOWN “VISION” SURVEY UNDERWAY.
The City of Tecumseh, Nebraska, has contracted with Hanna: Keelan Associates, a Nebraska-based community planning and research consulting firm, to prepare a Downtown Revitalization-Phase I Plan for Downtown Tecumseh and surrounding properties of historic significance. An important component of this Plan is the distribution of a Community Downtown “Vision” Survey that will gather information from both the general public and Downtown businesses and property owners regarding general opinion about the Downtown environs and identifying priority improvement projects for the Downtown.
